What is the best way to go about getting tickets to fights like Mayweather-Marquez or other big fights?

Find out when tickets are being released from Ticketmaster, and then make sure you get on at that time. Identify what price you are going to pay beforehand, as you don't want to lose the time when you're there. I don't know what the demand will be for this one. If you can't find any, keep re-searching, but also have your card details at the ready for when you find some. Unfortunately the only cash alternative is from scalpers & it will be about $100 extra per ticket

Its not as hard as you'd think. I'm from the UK but made the decision to travel to New York for the Cotto-Mosley fight. I rang Ticketmaster in the US and they were pretty helpful in ordering the tickets. Just keep checking ticketmaster every day. They are by far the most reliable source for tickets.

I will try to get tickets for the Mayweather vs Marquez fight as well. I just want to experience a live boxing event with big names such as Mayweather and Marquez. Even Zab Judah seem to be part of that fight card so why not?

I've been to a couple of fights, never as big as let's say Pacman-HAtton but I've seen a couple of fights in Montreal (Lucas-Catley back in the days) as well as a couple of others (Hilton-Tobela, Lucas-Tobela etc) or in Germany (the infamous Lucas-Beyer's night in LeipziG) and that wasn't hard to find, just as Jaz said but once again, it wasn't the "MEGA" fights to say so. Be on time at the tickets are available and make sure to be online for the first hour where it is getting sold or you'll end up empty handed.

Should of gone on Hattons website you could get $500-$300 ones from about 2weeks before the fight.

ticketmaster are decidedly awkward but the only genuine ticket companys for overseas fans wishing to travel to a big fight in the US and buy them at face value.

We got in very early when we booked up hatton-pac and ended up going with an internet company who had a decent enough reputation but that in itself can be a challenge as shipping costs etc will always far exceed the likes of ticketmaster.

If you are gonna stray away from ticketmaster or other genuine wholesalers then you MUST make sure the people your buying them from are 100% legit and that you manage to mantain receipts, tracking orders etc!!
    one dangerous horrible bloke
