Not if Liverpool have anything to do with it next year.

City are gonna spend at least 100mil in the summer and despite what the chairmans come out and said hughes is a dead man walking and ancelotti is the man for them.

Abrahmovic has lost interest in chelsea, too much fighting inside the liverpool camp and arsenal are gonna lose wenger.

mancs are gonna dominate next season!!

Master and the rest of the scousers on here i dotn want to put a dampner on your title aspirtations for next year, but i honestly think you missed the boat this year.

    1. All the manager shit at Chelsea, obviosuly effected there season.

2.You won 6 points off United 6 points off Chelsea and 2 points off Arsenal so you basically got 14 out of 18 against the main rivals and still lost the title with two games to go, can you honestly see yourself winning 4 out of 4 against United and Cheslsa and not being beaten again by Arsenal next year?? Not many years when you go unbeaton against the other big 3.

3.You had ten matches this season where the opposition had a player sent off against you, and on average you were playing against ten men in ten different matches on average for more then 25 minutes in all ten games.

    4. You scored 10 goals in the last 5 minutes of games which either gained you a point or 3 points, with 5 of the goals coming in the last minute.

Now dont get me wrong, Liverpool gave us a hell of a challenge this year, but with all the above happening i honestly feel you wont get a better chance than this year, and for the above to happen again is unlikely, maybe the late goals thing im being a little harsh there as that is a skill more than luck, but you had alot of events that you dont normally see for a team that didnt go on and win the league.

Isn't Ronaldo going to Real Madrid next season?

Liverpool will be up in the top again next season, they had injury trouble throughout the season as well.

True if Torres and Gerrard stay fit for next season then you are in big trouble. We just need to buy Tevez off you (or the agent).

    Torres missed 14 games
    Gerrard missed 7 games

    Ronaldo missed 6 games
    Rooney missed 8 games
    Ferdinand missed 13 games

Liverpool missed there chance you wont get this close next year i think third Chelsea and us will be ahead of you.

So our best three players best defender midfielder and striker missed a few games to but i suppose the Liverpool fans forget to mention that, oh i also forget to mention our 18.5 million signing from Bayern didnt play one game you know the fella, man of the match in the CL final 2008 and Englands best player at the last World Cup Owen Hargreaves

The Sheikh wanted Hughes gone but Khaldoon (the chairman) convinced him he's the man for the job. Still to convince me but if he can sort it out away from home we'll be a very good side.

Don't want Ancelotti anywhere near our team. We won't be ready to challenge for much for another 2-3 years unless something amazing happens over the summer and even then you've got to hope it clicks straight away. The future is very much blue though

    Poor poor Man U...

You Red Devil fans do realize that Ronaldo is soccer's version of A-Rod right A pretty boy who does all the flashy stuff but does NONE of the grind it out plays and he's paid too much and figures all the calls should go his way.....I wish somebody would just stomp the shit out of that little punk! And Wayne Rooney too, that angry little midget.

Liverpool will be back next season and as long as teams stop rolling over for Man U we'll have a great chance to win the whole thing.

Does none of the grind?? Please Lyle he is world player of the year for a reason he is an amazing player that scores every goal possible, and he deos something that Gerrard doesnt preforms for his national team.

If telling a player he elbowed in the head to "get up" is your definition of "grind it out" then yes, he does plenty of that.

It's not Gerrard's fault that England can't find a coach that knows how to use him properly. Gerrard is EASILY the best player England has.
