    Who are these guys?

    David Diaz?? o wow

I'd have to say Pacquiao has proven himself quite well and at the moment it is very close, but I see Mayweather as the better fighter. A win over JMM (whom im very confident he will beat) will IMO clearly give him the better legacy

Chatchai Sasakul is a very good boxer from Thailand... He was the lineal flyweight champion (the man at 112 division) when PAC beat him...

Lehlohonolo Ledwaba is a good boxer from South Africa, a highly rated super bantam... He was the IBF super bantam champ when PAC beat him... PAC fought Ledwaba on short notice as a replacement opponent...

David Diaz most notable win is against Armando Santa Cruz... Santa Cruz is the same boxer who was robbed by Joel Casamayor...

Mayweather - better overall boxer. But for various reasons likes to take the easier route. Scared to lose?

Pacquiao - fearless, takes risks. Better legacy.

A lot of sucess stories are from people who have nothing to lose and are willing to lose to achieve success. It is still early to tell, both fighters have more fighting to do.

It might be a factor in the equation, but a better test might be if they both left boxing today, who would be remembered more in 20, 30, 50 years from now.
