    Default RJJ Vs Jeff Lacy

Former IBF super middleweight champion Jeff Lacy is on board to face Roy Jones Jr. “Jeff Lacy has signed to fight Roy,” John Wirt, Square Ring CEO, confirmed to exclusively to Fightnews.com. “It’s going to be a pay-per-view event for August 22. We are hoping to have the event in New Orleans.”

Thoughts? To me a meaningless fight that Roy wins easily!

As a Roy fan I totally agree. He's a shadow of the man he once was and no more and Lacy has been proven a fake ever since his beating off Calzaghe.

I like both of these guys to be honest. RJJ is an all time great and Lacy has alot of heart, but this fight is pointless and both guys just need hang em up and call it a day.

This fight is pay per view? The undercard needs to be good for this to be PPV worthy. These guys should just retire IMO.

And Lacy's are even more meaningless. RJJ beats him and Lacy should thank his stars he'll be fighting a shadow of what RJJ once was.

And this is PPV? I wouldn't watch it even if it was free; no f#cking way I pay for it.

This is absolutely gay to me. Its like there trying to rob the fans, this is not worthy of a PPV at all.

Roy Jones Jr hasn't been good at Light Heavyweight since 2002 its ridiculous, i said it was ridiculous for him to fight Joe Calzaghe. But i hoped he would be competitive just so he could retire, then he fought a 2nd rate former Super Middleweight Omar Sheika, now Jeff Lacy ? im not even gonna watch this fight its pointless. As a RJJ fan im disappointed he hasn't retired yet, and im not a fan of Jeff Lacy by any means, but im worried for this guy i think he could get damaged soon.

He's been struggling against mediocre or awful fighters, and no matter if i thought he was overrated or not. Its still a shame to see a young former champion be reduced to that. Because he was alot better than that. And the only thing that is keeping him going now is his tremondous heart, which is about the only thing that works for him in boxing now.
