If you want to lower your body fat, cut down about 400 calories on what you would normally consume. Lift weights which helps to burn fat, and do compound movements like Squats, Deadlifts, ETC. And i'd also recommend doing cardio right after lifting weights.

Also have you ever tried HIIT ? High Intensity Interval Training ? heres little article on it. It will explain it better than i can and that will help you shift the bodyfat off it worked for me.
