just go for jogs.. building muscle is obviously an essential part of the process, and the more muscle you build, the easier and more efficiently you will burn calories.. go for a 3-4 miles run 2-3 times a week.. or maybe a mile or two a day or every other day..

losing weight is the easiest thing in the world.. there is no secret to it.. burn calories.. eat less calories.. you just have to put the time in.

jumping rope of course would help burn calories, just like lifting weights, doing pushups etc..

the way you burn the most fat and calories is figuring out your target heart rate (which you can look up online to figure out how to do) and jog/run at that intensity for a good amount of time.. that would be the easiest and most efficient way to burn the most calories possible in one time period.
