Congrats mate, saw Floyd in London today, it was fantastic seeing the guy who made me a fan as a kid. Would also say that he was at least as good as Manny was with his fans when I've seen them respectively, actually quite similar in trying to show the love back out to their fans.

Have a great time Taeth, make sure you don't disappear straight afterwards, you will most likely find a lot of the undercard guys just walk straight out to the fans & you can easily get a picture. You might struggle to see either Floyd or JMM though as the fighters normally disappear out of a back entrance.

All the disputes appear to be settled, the rumors done: Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez will fight at a 144-pound catchweight on July 18.
I have to admit (despite any competitive reservations) to being very excited to see Floyd in the ring with a guy like Marquez, who will chase him wherever he goes. Sure, it might get Marquez knocked out, but it won't be for a lack of effort on Marquez's part.
Golden Boy's CEO Richard Schaefer -- who does not promote Mayweather -- says rumors of a Floyd "hit list" are real, and that it includes Manny Pacquiao, Shane Mosley, Miguel Cotto and Victor Ortiz. The first inclination is to call B.S., or at least go, "Well, when we get there I'll believe it." But boxing does nothing but benefit from Mayweather showing his bravado via taking the fights people want to see, so let's all hope he's for real on this one.

I kind of didn't want to see Pacman-Mayweather live, I thought it would too hard to get tickets, that were too far away and it wouldn't be as good as seeing it on HBO. I guess we will see in July how it is.

Who knows maybe I will see that too, one step at a time . That fight will be two of my favorite fighters, but I clearly favor Mayweather more. IMO thats the biggest fight for boxing that has ever happened in my lifetime if it does happen so I want to see it as clearly as possible. This is a similarly huge fight, but people aren't give Marquez the respect he deserves, nor do they seem to key in on the fact that Mayweather is a natural welterweight. Its more guys who are one weightclass apart.

depending on how many people you go with, i have been able to get down in closer. for kirkland I was able to get down ringside and hangout with some peeps with my brother and with ward miranda, i was maybe 10 rows back, by myself for that one. then again this fight may be packed, but it still might be worth a try
