I haven't seen it yet, he is generally a defensive minded fighter, but like Roy Jones Jr he has really good power when he wants to in that cross.
Actually Vazquez is lagging behind... Tonight Rafa will fight at 126... Caballero is slated to fight Yuriorkis next at 126... Everybody at 122 is going to 126... Even 122 prospect Bernabe Concepcion will finally get his shot on 126 champ Steven Luevano...

The guy didn't land an honest punch in 2 rounds, I think thats pretty impressive, Rigondeaux didn't look good because the guy didn't even test him. Every solid punch hurt the guy, and Rigondeaux at 28 showed he still has plenty of life left. I honestly don't think he was able to showcase his skills because he is a true counter puncher, I think he wanted to be safe, and pick his punches, which he did.
Gatti and Ward pretty much took out what was left of eachother.
Yes Gatti went on to win some fights but he was never the same.
Ward retired after the trilogy.
As for Erik and MAB.
I don't recall either one of them looking like this after anyone of those fights.

Another big difference for Erik-MAB as against Izzy-Rafa is, they did their rematch fights with about 2 years gaps and not immediate rematches... Erik and MAB had enough time to recuperate from those brutal encounters unlike Izzy and Rafa who engaged 3 brutal wars in succession then sadly the price could be the sudden fall of their respective boxing career... I hope I'm wrong...
