As far as I can remember there was already a plan for PAC to fight David Diaz even before the PAC-JMM rematch fight... JMM was just lucky he was given a chance by PAC to have a rematch even if PAC had already problems making 130 lbs... Arum planned to monopolized the PAC-Diaz fight since both boxers are under his promotions...

By fighting Diaz, PAC earned his 5th division title and also got considerable amount of money in the process... I think PAC also earned $6M in the Diaz fight...
You got proof of that? Where's the link? I heard it was 2 million

PAC is guaranteed to earn at least $3M in that fight...

link --> All hail the new king - Boxing - ESPN

$6M total earnings from guaranteed purse, PPV share and all others...

That PPV was crap. It didn't sell. I seriously doubt he made an extra 3 million from it. But let's say he did. Than he pretty much ran away from 10 million for a 3rd Marquez fight

sorry but that's one of the stupidest things you've said in a while, Pacquiao was lucky to get fights against Barrera and Morales, the rematch against Marquez was NECESSARY for Manny and if he would have never taken that fight he wouldn't be where he is probably, that "win" was the one that brought around the most buzz, so sorry Manny needed Marquez, just as much as Marquez needs Pacquiao

I think it's JMM who's chasing PAC... Even up to this moment, JMM is still obsessed with PAC, he kept on mentioning PAC's name...

Good that he got the PBF fight coz after he will be defeated by PBF, maybe his obsession with PAC will calm down...

he chases him cause Pac goes running scared, and he'll be able to finally get his rematch come sometime next year, after Mayweather disposes of both Marquez and Pacquiao by the end of the year

It was planned. But the Diaz fight wasn't signed. Pac should of man up and try to avenge his loss to Marquez instead of going ahead with his bum fight against Diaz

You can give a pass for PAC on that... Fighting David Diaz was actually a good career move for PAC... He got his 5th division title and he showed he can bang with bigger men that leads to his fights with Hoya at 147 and Hatton at 140...

What's pitiful was JMM's ducking of a $750,000 PAC rematch offer after the 1st fight and went to Indonesia to fight Featherweight Champ Chris John for $30,000 and had his ass handed to him before going home to Mexico...

PAC is the better fighter according to 8,000 plus people mostly of US nationality... So PAC gets 51% of the purse split...

States colored red belong to PAC while blue ones belong to PBF... Gray ones are evenly shared... Lucky that PBF got more votes in Michigan...lol
