I do not think he can beat Macklin. Barker reminds me of that fighter I think was called Hare, and was found out when he fought someone at a higher level.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

And Macklin is higher level? Are you kidding me? Macklin is average at best. Barker is a very smart boxer and I'm certain he'll pick Macklin apart.

I agree, I was very impressed tonight and to be honest i can see Franky boy swerving this one as i think Barker is a bit to polished for Macklin, i think Barker has got a good future ahead, quick hands nice jab seems to be very clever in there.

Look forward to see him fight again.

He was fantastic last night, good to see him using the jab well and setting up everything behind it. that right cross worked perfectly all night- have to say, I did expect more from mcdermott. lets have barker macklin sooner rather than later, and then an EU shot before the end of the year.

I rate Barker higher than the bookmakers?

    4-11?

Shame I didn't know about that before the fight.

Another good performance - as said, a class above McDermott.

I thought the stoppage was a little premature, but as Barker said, how many rights did he want to take.

His eyes didn't look too focused to me. Generally I'd have sympathy but if you don't look at the referee directly when he's fucking speaking to you, you can't expect him to make any other call than to stop it.

I think the stoppage was ok, Mcdermott looked groggy and defintly wasnt all there, good stoppage if you ask me.
