I feel more comfortable with using thumbsticks myself, although I have no trouble with guys that prefer buttons. Shouldn't it should be developers' duty to accommodate different player's preferences?![]()
No one is going to like the same thing, but to single out all of the button users seems to be pretty damn inconsiderate if you ask me.
If you hear a voice within you saying that I am not a painter, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.

My theorys are supported by a number of scientific theorys and imperical tests...![]()
I have gotten back into FNR3 and used TPC to get used to it before I get FNR4...they better have tweaked it so I really can control which punch I throw because I try to throw a right cross and I get a jab, I try to throw a right hook and I get a right cross and I try to throw a right upper cut and my dude just sits there. FYI that's just if I wanted to throw one punch at a time....sure the combination punching is great and all but at the expense of if you wanted to throw one punch at a time (other than the jab).
I don't want to ALWAYS put my combos together 1,2,3....sometimes I want them 1,2-3 with a little delay and sometimes I just want to land a lead right cross without having to do long division beforehand.
I think the TPC advocates are as bad or worse than the button mashers...all you have to do instead of randomly mashing buttons is randomly jiggle the R3 stick around....you skilless fags!

Have not played for the longest but like the option of buttons or sticks.
1st time was hell, thumbs were swollen and stiff for days....hurt like helz. And throwing hook/uppercuts was pretty iffy...had to use exaggerated slashes.
Maybe if you just want radom blitzs of straight punches you do... if you play against somebody good/the computer set to hard you're going to need to deliberatly place, time and select your shots.
Try and jiggle the stick around and see if it produces combinations of hooks and uppercuts with the Haymakers/power punches and if they go where you want them and when... no dice.
I can't belive you struggle with throwing a cross or a jab either... you just have to go a little to the left/right... maybe you haven't found the sweet spot or maybe your controller got dropped or something?
