saw this on youtube..a better angle. I knew that most of the time Ricky's defense involves his face, but after the body shot he was just a sitting duck target. a left straight to the gut. Isn't that the same punch Pac used to knockdown his sparring partner? I agree it won't be effective against Mayweather. he's gonna eat a counter left hook if he tries that. and considering Floyd's stance...it's won't be an effective punch.

didn't see it but to be honest it wouldn't supprise me... Thaxton hurt Ricky to the body, in the Urango fight Ricky said he nearly had go down on one knee because of the body shot he took in that fight.

and Ricky always said he loves using the body shot because he got hit by one in the ams and it hurt him soooo much.

always felt he was weak to a bodyshot.

The second knock down would've been a knock out if Hatton didn't block it. That was a full blown straight left, but Ricky managed to partially block it.
