Dude! While I think JMM deserves to have his day at making the big $$$, I couldn't care less if Mayweather makes another big purse. Any disrespect Mayweather gets he's earned. If you think what I wrote poor attempt to be disrespectful wait for the real critics to spit that crap back in Marweathers face should the PPV numbers fall flat.
I also wish JMM can get some big dollars (he's a very good boxer) but I doubt if he got it in this fight... There were reports that PBF's purse for this fight is $15 million... I highly doubt if JMM even got $5M for this fight... Knowing "Money May", he must have demanded not lower than 80-20 purse split...

If you think Mayweather-Marquez
1. Is a tune up fight, your an idiot
2. Is going to be boring, your not a true boxing fan who can appreciate the sport.
3. Not worth paying 50$ for, your not a true boxing fan
4. A total mismatch, your an idiot.
5. Not worthy of anything because its not as significant as Mayweather-Pacquiao, then your an idiot.
It won't be boring, Marquez's style is such that Mayweather will be forced to be exciting.

This is a terrible thread. Since when are we citing blogs?
IF Castillo gave him a hard time, you can be sure Marquez can as well. Also, if I would follow your logic, every fights (or 90%) would be a tune up fight for Floyd. To me, Marquez isn't a Tune up fight at all, Floyd picked him because he's by far the best small guy available and he knows which reproaches are made to him and he wants to try to patch it up with great caliber fighter but at a weight where his risks are smaller. IF JMM is a tune up fight, It's the toughest one you can pick from.
