Default Shane Mosley's best lightweight fights?

I've never seen any of SSM's fights at LW, but that is about to change. Which are his best LW fights? Just going by boxrec, I'm going to guess that the Holiday, Molina, and Leija fights would all be worth a viewing. Any comments on these fights or other LW Mosley fights would be appreciated.

The Molina, Leija and John Brown were his best performances. The Holiday fight was actually his least impressive.

    Thanks.

The Holiday fight stood out to me for a couple of reasons. I want to see the fight where he won his first title, it was against another undefeated opponent, and - going purely by the scores - it was his closest fight and thus perhaps his stiffest challenge at that weight.

He didn't look great in the Holiday fight.

Holiday wasn't elite. But he was pretty good. Mosley had stomach problems in that fight. Which he said affected his performance.

What was so good about the Brown fight?

Based on his record (and I know that can be a very misleading and flawed way of looking at a fighter and/or a matchup) it seems like it should've been a blowout for Mosley. I see Brown lost a close UD to Manfredy and the he beat Ruelas, so maybe he's a better fighter than his record indicates.

Shane Mosely was special at lightweight, he was 31-0 29 ko's watch as much of him at lightweight as you can, just a shame there was never a Mayweather fight back in those days.....

Brown was just solid, durable and non stop action yet possessing minor pop, being undersized and pretty predictable to look good against and left you knowing that you were in a nice fight.I remember he came out with a solid streak, looking like a fawking terror beating Freddie Libratore, beating the ever loving hype and hope out of top undefeated prospect El Flaco Negron....bounced him around like a yo-yo with 2 standing 8's and 2 KDs.Thought he beat both Lamar Murphy and Grove. The Forbes TKO a bit misleading,I think they believed that Forbes had busted his eardrum at first and they stopped it.He was Tailor made for Mosley but the guy never stopped trying.

I really liked Mosley vs. Molina and he just def!!!ingstroyed Leija. His KO of Manuel Gomez was almost x-rated and he was great with Ceballos. He got really mad after decent Ceballos complained low blows and immediately unleashed on him when resumed, left him in a heap on the deck .I think he had the shites vs Holiday.

Get any of his early fights before he won the title, i can't recommend which ones cause theres too many but any you can get just get them. Mostly all of his early fights are impressive and exciting displays.

People have already mentioned most of them, but i loved his fight with Golden Johnson because the body battering he put on Golden Johnson was brutal. I'd say just get all of his Lightweight fights you can.

Except for his one against Philip Holiday which wasn't an impressive performance. but as VD said there were reasons for that but whatever i still don't recommend it.

Holliday is way overated. He beat Fenech when he was shot, lives in Aus ow, but fought on the Tszyu Leija undercard. He got done by Abdullaiev..the guy Cotto battered.

Leija had some good moments, but he quit against Tszyu in rd 6 because he was punched in the ear....
