He doesn't? Did you watch the Australian Open or last years French Open? It's almost a trademark of his now.
I missed the Australian open earlier this year but I did watch the French. Like you mentioned before Nadal gets to him but for the most part Fed is usually pretty sound mentally.

I think feds about to take this home

It would be kinda fitting dont you think. The one guy that always beats Federer gets beat and then Federer gets beat by the man who beat the man.

You never know. I actaully think Fed will take it. I think its eventually gonna hit\get to Soderling that hes playing for the French Open title and loose it mentally.

Plus like you were saying earlier in this thread that fed seams to play better in the finals when he has pushed to the limits on his way to the final match.

I'm just hoping its a good game.

Yeah but this one is huge; and I wonder mentally how Fed will handle it. Winning willtie him with Pete Sampras' all time slam record, plus he gets the oe title he doesn't have. And Soderling is going to push him hard; mental issues or not he is in deep wit Soderling unless Sod hs a meltdown. Should be epic!!

I completely forgot about him tieing Sampras' record. I remember before the Australian open I saw a interview with Pete and he was asked if he would make the flight down to Australia if Fed was playing in the final. I think it would be cool to see Fed over take Pete at wimbledon, which I think was petes favorite major.

My fave is the French Open; love the atmosphere and Paris is such a beautiful city. Hate the US Open{though I watch} dislike Wimbledon because of the gay all white clothing rules; love the AO, second to the FO for me.

And if it wasn't for Nadal Fed would have like 19 slams already lol

Federer is a bastard. Going 5 sets like that really messed up my sleeping. The game didn't start until nigh on midnight my time and I watched it right through. Ive just now had to wake up at 9am in order to climb a bloody mountain. What the heck!

Federer will beat Soderling. Hopefully in a non epic final because I have class early Monday morning!

Safina won't win; I hope she can do what she did last year to Sharapova in the semi's, ut he s falling apart. And I wish she ould stop looking at her coach; that motherfukker can't play for her. Stupid cunt. Women's tennis sucks anyways; lazy skanks should have to play 5 sets.

Really, really disappointing showing. She really struggles with her serve and it showed again in this.

I have a bet with the wife and I picked Saf and Fed to win the finals. I am one down now. Fed better win tomorrow or I am out of pocket for the weekend!

I really like Federer, he's not cocky, very classy and.. heck, he tries to have that trophy for a few years now, he finally deserves it, especially as the missing one would also be the cornerstone to equal the great Sampras' mark.

Yep, he is a class act. There is little you can hate on him for really. I hope tomorrow works out well. I think I was still semi sleeping when I posted that earlier. Slept way too late!

Soderling has been amazing in theis event but if you look back in history not many times a guy who usually wimpers out in the first second round who somehow gets to the final wins it, only Ivanisavic in 01 at wimby i can think off.

I think Federer wins easily in 3 sets, and the 9-0 head to head in Federers favour should do Rogers confidence the world of good.
