When did Tony Thompson, when did Hasim Rahman...what about biitch ass Ray Austin or even Sam Peter ?

Haye has stepped upto the plate numerous times and has shown power, speed and brutal knockouts in his 2 HW fights thus far. Something that Wlad can't deal with.

Rahman beat Lewis, Tony Thompson and Sam Peter were at least young undefeated ranked heavies, (the only comparison to Haye there is the young bit)

If Haye showed brutal power in beating Barrett then Cliff Couser must have shown, er............... even more brutaler power

Come on mate... Rahman was a one punch wonder and more importantly he was young when that happened... he's way past his best. He couldn't even out hustle or out fight fat super middle weight James Toney.

The Rahman fight was a gift to him for his patience and generosity in dealing with Vitali's injuries....it was a big paycheck for a guy who showed class a lot of class nothing more, nothing less.

Tony Thompson is an avoided fighter and as well he should be, he's 6'6 he's 250+ pounds, he's a southpaw and he has very good defense and a good jab.

Sam Peter was a very solid threat when Wlad fought him and before that fight Wlad was at a low point in his career...it was a VERY dangerous fight for Wlad to take, he risked his career on that fight, had he lost he would have had to retire.

Calvin Brock was a tough fighter too, not exciting, not overwhelmingly talented in 1 area or another, but he was a strong fighter, very solid

No point going on about it Lee, what Lyle doesn't understand is that Haye poses a decent threat to Clit because of his speed of movement and one-punch KO power. Lyle feels safer knowing that Clit is going to be fighting a smaller guy who is too slow to do anything other than stand in front of Clit not actually doing anything. You can't even blame Lyle or Clit. It's just what they have become accustomed too. Rahman, Thompson, Peter, Austin.

Clit fans like to retort to the 'what has David Haye ever done to deserve a shot' line which is fine until you remember who Clit has been fighting recently. Furthermore i highly doubt the Clit fans would complain about Nate Campbell getting a shot straight away at 140, or Pac getting a shot straight away at 135 and 140, or indeed any other undisputed champion moving up in weight.
