I actually have a hard time picking this fight. Before the Pacquiao loss, I would've comfortably said Hatton. I was surprised how bad Hatton looked against a southpaw. I know Collazo caused him a problem, but Pacquiao showed that againt the style of Ricky coming in, the right hook will work from the southpaw stance everytime.

Judah doesnt have a great left cross in Hattons favour. Lets say Hatton covers the right hook, as it was the biggest weakness exposed from the southpa stance, he's now fighting a touch pensive, as has to blunt that attack. Judah at 140 WAS a completely different fighter.

It's close.......given that Judah is a southpaw, and Hatton psychologically isnt the same, i'd honestly have to say Judah, and i wouldnt be surprised if he knocks him out in England, and seems like a killer at 140 again.

I would've never have picked this, but after Pacquiao, certain realities were exposed. Dont forget, at 140, when Judah had good power and even better speed, he was able to get away more with his offensive flurries that just didnt hold up against the bigger guys to actually beat them. It would be somewhat ironic if it is Judah who puts the final nail in the coffin, given there histories. It looks like an option for Ricky given the Matthew Hatton fight, and Judah is one of the biggest names Hatton can actually look to make a fight against at 140. The better man will win.

I disagree on the last part if Zab Judah is gonna win, its gonna be early because he gets weaker as the fight goes on.

The point is, thats all well and good at 147, but at 140 he is a whole new fighter. Judah does fade late, but id have to say he has more boxing skill than Hatton, and the size to do better at 140, than against guys like Cotto and Clottey. He is better early Judah. How embarrassing would it be if he's beaten at 2am in England by Judah!!

I think he could beat a Matthew Hatton, and it wouldn't be a huge surprise.

How exactly would Judah be reinvented totally at 140 given his recent showings and wear and tear?He has not been there in years. I think he is an old 30,31 (?) and has not exactly been dazzling in last few vs his lesser 'Opponents'.Starting to cut up,let his mind wander...more so and fade late indeed.

After Ricky Hatton was beat in that manner....being crushed like a paper cup so brutally,A guy like Zab might get him just as easily as some so-so type brought in to make Hatton look 'top notch' in his initial comeback bout.Hatton could go either way....but it does not automatically translate into Zab dusting off the 140 division though.

We will see, hindsight is 20/20............JUDAH to show greater boxing maturity together with being a bgger fighter at 140 as oppossed to 147. KO victory to Judah.

Can I ask...based on what? When has Judah ever shown any kind of boxing maturity? It was a year ago that he threw scales through a window and lost out on a massive payday against Mosley. The man has never shown any kind of maturity, even in a boxing ring. He's failed to KO some real lower level fighters. What makes you think he'd be a force at 140?

Do you know Judah aint shit any more and are just trying to dig at Ricky because he beat the crap outta your boy? Do you just constantly make threads about Hatton because Big H challanged you on Kostya Tszyu being an all time great?

Honestly, I have yet to see one post of logic from you to explain why you make such stupid claims in your posts.

Zab Judah has A Level talent and D Level dedication.....If he puts his mind to it and stays focus he is dangerous.

I just dont think he comes in focused and doesnt train hard enough. He will beat Matthew but not Ricky....

Matthew who? RH-Judah would be a big attraction. But imo RH-Khan is bigger attraction and less dangerous for Ricky.

Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll retire each other with a double knockout.

Zab is a mental case; but I'm pretty sure Ricky is ruined after that trainwreck with Pacman. Either Zab stops him early or Hatton humps and hits him until Judah quits. Pick em' fight

Judah wasn't able to take his game up to Welterweight as effective (former Undisputed Welterweight champion) simply for the fact the Power he had at 140 was good, but derived mainly of speed. Against bigger guys, it was less in comparison to what he has against guys at 140. Additionally, the other guys are bigger, stronger with power of their own. Furthermore, he was even Faster at 140. Given that he is 31, going down i weight should see him just as fast as anytime at 147, and he will be More powerful.

Judah looked like a killer beating other top ten guys at 140. That was all based upon projection. He defeated Corley at 140 for the WBO belt after his loss to Tszyu. He rushed up to 147 because of the Spinks offer, and won one of them. Spinks was a light puncher. Against bigger guys, he had some trouble Cotto, Clottey, and was simply outboxed by Mayweather. Baldomir, well he's still Zab Judah after all.......bound to stuff it up somewhere along the line.

Technically, he fights in spurts. In the later rounds of fights, he wasnt solid enough at 147 to beat the best BIG guys. What he has learnt a touch is what it is in there with big bangers, and that brought maturity to his immature head boxing wise.

AT 140.........very dangerous. He will knock Hatton out, mainly because of the fact he will prove he has the same speed, Good Power at 140, as oppossed to Ok power at 147, and his opponents are weaker. Cotto and Clottey are bigger than Hatton. He's a Southpaw. The right hook from the southpaw stance, of which Judah has a good one spells trouble for Hatton. Pacquiao showed how to nail and fast right hook on Hatton from the Southpaw stance. He barely even survived Collazo

Quote: Even Ricky Hatton of right now could kick the living shit out of that big mouth overrated fighter.

The better man will win! I think Judah is a better boxer, and beating up one Hatton sets up the possibility of fighting the other. There are few others that Hatton can make as much money with given the name recognition and flashy style. Being beaten savagely by Judah is like a nightmare isn't it

First Judah will beat up his brother. Then he will come to England and beat the sh*t out of Ricky Gangster Style, as he rapes and piledges him in front of ya all.

I've never seen Matthew Hatton fight either, as although hes fought on Ricky undercards, they werent aired. Thats a hint, together with the fact he's supposed to be Rickys lesser interms of boxing..

You talk as if its a done deal. Why would Hatton even bother with Judah? It wouldn't prove shit if he won, he's much more likely to retire than face the guy who's had his arse handed to him time after time. It's clear you make these threads because Ricky sent Tszyu packing into retirement, after making him quit on his stool.
