You sure you have not seen this Ice ??Saw you put it up in the past on your best viewed threads.Ohh who knows, too many to keep track of at times
I could bore you with a rbr, best I can manage.I knew I kept these crusty notebooks for some reason lol. This was an epic battle that deserves mention standing alongside ANY past fight in terms of greatness. It was missing a few key elements though that keeps it somewhat under the radar....the 'Name' factor at the time and they were in a lower weightclass,at a time when the Heavyweight division had huge teeth and some major leauge talent and in the same year as Holyfield vs. Bowe 1.Frankly.....in terms of sheer constant excitment and none stop shifts in momentum....I think it was a better action fight than that heavyweight battle

.
Kelly was coming up fast out of New York and getting some needed national wide exposure on a major network,USA Tuesday night fights,Dorsey had been is some nice highly disputed fights all over the networks with Jorge Paez but was considered to be a bit passed it just lossing Title to Manuel Medina.Really a contrast in styles...Dorsey was very one deminsional, could not break an egg but was one of the toughest brawlers with a mullet that Texas had ever produced.Kelly was very sharp, fast talking, combination puncher & quick fisted star in the making. These fellows produced a sensational classic battle.
