The July 25th date has been revealed since they lost all hope of saving the fight.

OBVIOUSLY they first said three weeks from June 20th because they were trying to save the fight.

A three week delay and maybe Wlad would have gone for it. They knew Wlad would walk any later than that.. or they simply didn't realise how bad the injury was when the first reports came out.

Either way it makes perfect sense.
It made perfect sense for Wlad to move on. With no medical report all they had was there word to go by it. What assurances did he have that July 25th doesn't turn into August 8th and so on?

If his back is that bad than show proof and cancel. Why try and supposely fight in 3 weeks? Is it to not lose the fight? If that's the case than fight now. What's the difference?
You've basically answered your own question in the first part. He can't fight now because he's injured. Yes it makes perfect sense for Wlad to move on. Haye's injury was WORSE than originally let on, so wouldn't have made the 11th anyway.

They were being optimistic about the injury healing within three weeks. They ONLY revealed it wouldn't once Wlad-Chagaev was a done deal. They knew the fight was gone so had no reason to try and hide the severness of the injury.

That proves Haye was doing his BEST to save the fight.

You know what? I'll give you that. Let's say Haye was trying to be optimistic about healing in 3 weeks. But couldn't. Ok. Stuff happens. Injury happen. Understandable. Now help me understand something else. With that being said, how the hell can it even be said or considered that Wlad is ducking Haye by moving on? How is that? I'm not saying that came from you. But I know you seen them. Maybe as somebody from that side of the world you can explain that reasoning to me.

I don't know why people are saying Wlad is ducking Haye.

It sounds like something that could be a good fun wind-up though if people are going to bite

Yeah they are HARDCORE drinking some David Haye Kool Aide...the more I think about it the more ridiculous it sounds "David Haye, beats Monte Barret and earns a title shot"....for a group of people who complain about Tony Thompson's title shot you guys should be ashamed of yourselves!!! Thompson at least beat a couple of guys...hell even Rahman beat more than just one bum to get a shot at the title.

And the bastards think David Haye can win too!!!! Jesus, I am glad this site wasn't around when Frank Bruno was moving up in the division
