Yeah. Funnily enough my Dad is a sergeant in the Police now and was a Paramedic before that.
I seen a Paramedic 2 year course online at the University of Liverpool (Diploma of Higher Education in Paramedic studies) which looks awesome. You come out a qualified Paramedic practioner and the university put you on placement at a hospital and help you gain work once you finish the course. Another bonus is you normally you have to pay for University courses but as this is funded by the NHS (National Health Service in Britain) its free. Considering its £6,000 a year I'll be saving a student loan of £12,000.
It's one or the other basically. I'm just going to weigh up my options over the next year while gaining as much work experience as I can including voluntary work. I've already got voluntary work at a local police station lined up in a few months.
