They'd better at least last till Sunday. They already pulled their subscription system, you can't sign up either by internet or by phone.

sooner everythings back on sky the better as far as i am concerned - one subscription only required
12.99 a month for that shite
and yes as said their customer service (if you could get them on the phone) was the worst I have ever come across
bet Haye knew this about a week ago![]()
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
The problem is though, Sky aren't investing in overseas boxing, so kiss goodbye to seeing the top fighters fight. Also I've heard ITV may pull the plug on Hennessy and buy him out of the remaining 10 fights so they don't have to show them.
I wana see Cotto - Clottey . Ufc 99 then next week the Chagev Haye fight . If they go undr after that then it doenst matter cuz theyve got nothing else and the boxing can come back to Sky sports. Bravo can get the live Ufc cards.
Hopefully this means Bunce will be off the telly. That man was given too much exposure.
Setanta have been a fresh of air to British boxing they have shown great big fights and without them we are all losing out. This weekend is going to be great to watch Cotto. I hope ESPN take over and give Sky some competition. I use to know the up and comming fighters, watching Eric Morales and Shane on under cards of big events was great. Now I do not know who Victor Ortiz etc are.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Wow this sucks. Here in the States I was able to watch a little Setanta and Sky for European Boxing and Boxing in general. That sucks that Setanta is going away. This is why we need a Boxing Channel. Here in the States Football and Baseball have channels for themselves, hell even Hockey and Basketball has one and Boxing towers over all sports. Boxing deserves a channel!
The one good thing if ESPN take over the Premiership football package Setanta have is that they'll show their library of classic fights to fill in all the empty hours of programming, all their documentaries etc. We might even get Friday Night Fights as well, they're also friendly with GBP etc. But whether they'll do deals with people like GBP and Top Rank to show their shows like Setanta did is another question.
Sky used to pick up the US fights (not featuring Brits) they've shown over the years for buttons, there was no competition when it came to bidding till Setanta came along. Setanta offered a few quid more to take them away from Sky. If ESPN don't compete for the rights to show boxing events then Sky can go back to paying buttons again and hopefully will, or maybe ESPN want to show boxing and do what Setanta did. So long as somebody shows the fights, the worst possible scenario is they both say bollocks to boxing and neither cover it. But fingers crossed somebody will or we're left with dodgy streams on the interweb.
