the word is no from everything I've heard.
We get this in the UK through the TOP RANK PPV, any idea how high on the card it is? Is it right before Cotto-Clottey?
I dont get why this is not an hbo double header. These extra small fighters are more fun to watch than our current HW champions imo.
This article kinda goes someway to explaining why it ain't on HBO
Calderon gets respect, but not from the networks
It's obvious why the TV aren't interested in little fighters like Calderon.
What's interesting in that piece is - anyone that thinks the Ring P4P list is the daddy of all rankings, check how the writer, Doug Fisher, uses P4P lists from other sites to highlight how highly regarded Calderon is, ignoring the fact his own firm doesn't have him rated.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
So no co-feature??Again.Usually they re-air the main event of a previous PPV.At times I think HBO is severly overrated in its 'rockstar' mindset.
HBO will rather broadcast Real Sex #83 or somethin than the calderon fight. Lol
Even if he was considered more exciting, HBO just isn't in the business of showing 108 pound guys fighting each other.
we're only in June and there were rumors of HBO already being kinda tight with their budget, so doesn't shock me to not see them cash out for a fight at a weight class that gets little attention, don't forget Viloria is in the same boat, he's never fought on a regular HBO broadcast either
