We will be on route 66 for a little bit on the home stretch, we will be crossing over it on the way up.

I can imagine the nice views you will be enjoying on the road. Stopping at small towns to grab something to eat. Stopping again for a snack, etc. It's awesome.

I recently came back from a road trip from San Diego, California, USA, to Bodie ghost town. It was around 7 or 8 hours on the road. Awesome views on our way there. We had an ice box with bunch of drinks and snacks. What a trip!

Will you camp or stay in hotels?

Yeah, I'm really excited round trip will be about 2,100 miles (3300 km)
definately the longest I'll have gone in a car in my life.
