It was a close fight that could've gone to either fighter, but Cotto edged it (by one round) by being the better fighter in the championship rounds.

I realize that even if Clottey won the championship rounds he would have still lost by the judges scoring, but as fans we always keep our own scorecards.

If he (clottey) fought harder those two rounds I think he would have clearly won. It was a close fight and could have gone either way the way I saw it. I'm going to watch it again tomorrow and score it.

I haven't seen the fight yet, I just saw the ESPN highlight which wasn't much. When I watch it without sound or disturbance, I will post my scoring on this thread. Sure I am a Cotto fan, but I will put that aside and be as honest as I can with the way I think the fight went.....I am very interested in watching the fight too, but I was on vacation for the weekend

It doesn't really matter what any of us think on this subject. With one of those judges scoring that fight 116-to whatever showed clottey never had nuch of a chance in the first place. Good fight though.
