Given the way both guys responded to their problems i think Cotto would have adapted to a leg injury fine. Clottey was looking for excuses. Cotto could have used the cut as an excuse but continued to fight.

Except he didn't, in the post-fight interview he said it didn't affect him, just that he twisted onto his knee when he fell & was sore for a few minutesOriginally Posted by bikersk

I was referring more to how the guys were behaving in the ring rather than what they said post fight.
