I watched the Pac fight again this afternoon. It doesn't get any less frustrating watching it. Hatton lost the plot completely. No way he wants to go out like that. Hatton knows exactly what will give him problems ie fast southpaw who will throw punches in bunches. If he picks his opponent carefully there is no reason why he cannot come back with a win.

Hatton screwed up big time and spent far too much time waffling on about P4P titles in the build up. He got caught up in the hype and paid the price. I would like him to retire, but I don't see why he can't finish with a calculated win or two.

Hi Miles.Yeah i've watched the fight over and over and over again and it trully pisses me off the way Hatton fought. He never used any boxing skills at all.He keeps walking in straight lines with no fooking head movement and with his guard none exsiting!Fooking does my head in to see such a experiance fighter like Hatton box soo damn shit!I was hoping he'll retire but i dont blame him for trying to finish on a good win!I like Hatton a lot,he has done great for british boxing and has only been beaten twice by two best p4p fighters in the world and thats no shame at all!Lets hope Hatton does'nt use the same none skill tactics again in his next fight

Hatton was trying the Hagler-Hearns approach at 140. He was trying to get into a war with Pacman and testing the guy at 140, but forgot he doesn't have the iron chin to pull it off.

Who knows maybe he can fight the winner of Kotelnik-Khan and fill up those massive stadiums in the UK. He should be a huge favorite against both.

He would have to be matched very carefully from now on. They should put him in there with an opponent that does not hit very hard. Demetrius Hopkins would be a nice start. Or the way fighters have been coming up in weight why not have him fight a veteran like Marco Antonio Barrera in the UK.

I don't think it's so obvious that Hatton's punch resistance has fallen off. I think a lot of us underestimated the power of PAC at 140, Hatton camp included.

I don't really think that Hatton is gonna improve his stature much with more fights. His legacy, such as it is, is pretty much set. And I don't imagine he needs the money.

He will fight again, he just needs time to recover physically and mentally from his last blooper, feel the hunger again, find a good trainer and keep the train going for another fight or two before calling it a day.

    Rematch with pac maybe?

Seriously I think Ricky seems to have lost every bit of punch resistance he once had. I watched this cunt walk through some of Kostyas big right hands and not go down and lets face it I think kostya was on the slide but he still had some heavy fuckin hands. I personally think that performance made his career and in the long run fucked him.

I'am a big Hatton fan i was there in vegas.I think he is a good fighter but he lacks the mentality in the biggest fights in his career to be a great fighter. He lost the plot in Mayweather fight and he didnt fight like he was surpossed to in the Manny fight. The punch that ko'ed Hatton to be fair would of ko'ed most fighters but most fighters would'nt of been caught with that punch in the first place.

Either way 2 defeats to 2 outstanding fighters is still good and there is no shame.

I will go to the next fight if he decides to fight on,i hope its a case he does'nt want to carry on for the fans he owes us nothing, more for himself still wanting to fight.

If he does fight i hope he finishes his career soon and in full health.

He isnt done and definitely should not go out just yet..

The guy is 30years old and people are already saying he is past it just because he got walloped by pacquiao.

Truth is we dont know how bad/good hatton could of been that night because it was over so quickly and the only underlying factor from the night was that hattons reflexes had clearly diminished.

As long as he stays away from the big 3 (floyd-pac-marquez) i see no reason why ricky shouldnt have at least 2-3 fights left in him.

If ricky wants to get back to the top and is prepared to do it the hard way there would still be huge interest both in the UK and across the world. If however hatton is planning one final payday against a complete no-goer like lazcano infront of 80,000 at wembley/manchester id just prefer he`d save everyone the trouble and leave the sport for good.
    one dangerous horrible bloke

I think that's precisely what he's doing, waiting for the winner of that fight. Neither is a concussive puncher and it would be for a rtitle.
