I did not watch the Ruiz/Holyfield bouts but I will take your word for it but
Bernard Hopkins vs Robert Allen? This had it's moments. Bhop was pushed out of the ringthere were a few knock downs in the second fight and some more drama in the third fight.
Like I said, Tarver/Jones, one of thee most boring trilogies ever. (other than the knock out) as I mentioned before.
Well thing is Jones become gun shy after the knock out and could not pull the trigger think he was alwasy worried to get knocked out again.
I had Jones winning, it was close I think I scored it 115-113
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Jones won but he should have never fought after that. He was tested which is what people wanted he faced adversity he won he should have rode off into the sunset. But he gave Tarver a rematch when he didn't want to and when he wasnt physically at his best, for someone who people complained never took a risk, continuing to fight after the first tarver fight with his body in the bad shape it was in had to be his biggest risks and ultimately it cost him dearly. Roy Jones just goes to show no matter how great of shape you are in, if you betray your body by losing 30 pounds or how ever many he lost, no matter how good your skill is if your body is drained so are you.
