I wasnt nearly as impressed with Wlad as the commentators. The guy has no punch variety, to instinct to finish his opponent. He was at a huge advantage in size and power and was easily winning, yet he didnt take one chance. I picked Chagaev, but after the first round it was clear to me that Wlad could ko this guy in a couple rounds and he didnt. If he opened up just once with more than a one-two, he would have kod him.

Say what you want about Haye and his fat mouth.....I dont think that fight goes over 4 rounds,either way.I think Haye might find him OR he'll get pole axed via a right hand in the process.....but he will try to KO Wlad.

Wlad fought a great fight.I just think he's a little too comfortable-content.

After watching that borefest i still think Haye is fast enough to beat this guy by evading the left and smashing the overhand right.

I know what the problem is: watchng Wlad jab, and keep that arm out there fluttering about, I get sleepy watching it over and over. I guess he's hypnotizing his opponents into some sort of catatonic state where they just sit there and do nothing. Thrilling stuff. Does Wlad know how to throw any punches other than a jab/straight right?

More opportunities to finish the fight with some uppercuts and he's just content to death jab him to death. Some nice right hands though but this guy is no finisher. Vitali would have already been on his wy home. oh, fight stopped.

Agreed.I'm believing that those KO's he took early are sitting firm in the back of his mind.He really does fight from the backseat for the most part.
