But in a 5 decade career, any fighter will have off days and lose fights, or fight someone who fights a great fight. Most ATG fighters have lost fights to lesser opponents, mainly because most ATG have a lot of fights and fought a lot of good opposition . A far as who beats Duran in history, im sure there are some that could have, but Id favor a 100% motivated and prepared Duran over just about anyone. Whittaker would have given him some problems imo, but hed give anyone problems.
totally agreed there mate.a fully prepared and motivated duran would beat most people from 135 to 147 and higher in any time in history. i often think of duran vs mayweather. i think mayweather is unbelievable and so smart i cant see him losing to anybody in and around his weight division today. hes just too good not every ones cup of tea. but if i had to choose a style out of anyone in history id want mayweathers just the hit and not get hit nature of it. u no for a fact when he does retire he will not suffer any of the related diseases that come with the aftermath of a career in the ring. in his whole career when all is said and done he would of took the same amount of punches that most fighters take in one fight. however thats not to say its my favourite style. anyway getting back to mayweather vs duran and yeah lets have it at lightweight coz thats there best divisions for me. im picking duran.does any one agree with this
