And so he should too. Haye really should just shut up and work his way up to a shot now. He was granted his opportunity and he blew it. Now he should earn it the proper way, go out and beat a couple of live opponents and then say it's his turn. Of course, it will take a while considering he only fights once a year.

On the plus side Miles he might end up being the oldest ever HW champ !! Agree totally, had his chance and blew it, in face more so 'cause of his big mouth. Now he needs to get out there and show us he is worthy of a tilt at the title. Not too sure he will be able to come up to it, as you said he needs to earn the shot now, not gonna happen with one fight a year. he needs to get rid of at least tow or three other contenders and then he can start mouthing again.

I like him but he pushed too far with his mouthy attitude and now he has been dismissed, get over it.

I think Haye should retire from boxing and just shadow Wlad around like some sort of professional heckler

I wonder if David prank calls Wlads house at 2:00am and hangs up after asking what color panties he is wearing.

I like Haye and even if it wasnt a back problem I can't blame him because from all the accounts I've read he should have never agreed to fight Wlad under those lopsided conditions anyways.

I know Wlad is "Mr. Civilized Perfect Better Than Thou" because he constantly reminds everyone of how superior a being he is in the ring and in life. Aside from his boring fights, he is beginning to piss me off as a person as well. I think he's got his head up his own ass deeper than anyone.

Haye can be verbally obnoxious, but inside hes a good guy. Wlad acts like a good guy, but inside he is a pretentious asshole.

Wlad is your fridge running? "Why yes."

"Well maybe you had better go catch it!" giggles Haye.

I actually like all the trash talking David Hayeid before his back injury because it made a Heavyweight fight more exciting and I was looking forward to it. Now, I still do like it, but he shouldn't be talking a whole lot of smack because he bitched out.

Same here. He wants to talk his way to a title shot, Wlad's people set the WHOLE thing up for him when it became apparent what amateurs he and Booth are at setting up big events, then he pulled out. He needs to earn his shot in the ring, how about we see how well he handles Chagaev.

Yeah I'd like to see that as well; like already stated he needs to go and really earn it now, though I am looking forward to seeing him and Wlad fight asap.

Tell you what i have watched it twice since Saturday and Johnny Nelson (Sky tv pundit) has it bang on...

WTF would you want to walk into Wlad?

The only way you can beat him is to bring him on to you and use the ring and make him fight your way.

I really do think that Haye has what it takes to beat him IF he can hurt him early and gain his respect.

Haye is a brilliant counter puncher too and if he can land a bomb early and bring Wlad onto his shots im positive he can beat him and by KO.

And i do confess the likelyhood of Hayes back being injured is bullshit.

It is def because of Setanta sports possibly going into administration.

    Can anyone blame him really?

Wlad has a Mandatory next anyway and the fact David may have to face Vitali next is not the way the script is supposed to be.

NO WAY he even dents Vitali imo but Wlad is def beatable imo but the only way your gonna do it is by making him fight your fight and making him come to you.

No Ones unbeatable at the end of the day and Wlad certainly isn't

This Is Boxing and anything can happen and in the Heavyweight division things can and do change in one heavy punch.

    That's all it takes.

You can put a spin on that statement and he could be saying Wladimer is gonna cure his insomnia by putting him to sleep(knocking him out)

So he either is saying Wladimer is boring and puts him to sleep or that Wladimer is gonna knock him out and cure his insomnia.

I kid, but i'd rather see Haye fight an Arreola next

Wlad is not unbeatable, but there isnt really a heavyweight out there at the time that can beat him. Haye is wild and has wide punches. Whenever he goes to throw he is going to eat a jab and the first time Haye eats one of those monster rights he might find himself looking up at the lights.....

I almost wonder if Haye has a better chance of beating Vitali by decision than Wlad. Wlad is much more athletic, has better footwork, and speed than Vitali. I think if Haye dances around enought maybe he could take Vitali over twelve rounds. That isnt Haye's style though so Vitali would probably KO him in that fight..,..

Yeah i actually don't mind Haye's chances against Vitali.
I know there's not a chance in hell that Haye would knock him out but there's a decent possibility that he could outscore Vitali all night long.
