Arum looking to build towards JuanMa Lopez-Yuriorkis Gamboa?

Arum's been quoted as saying he's going to attempt to work towards this fight over the next year or so. Wants to build it into a PPV type fight.

Assuming Lopez beats Lonthchi this Saturday Arum's apparently looking to headline a card with Lopez and Gamboa against unnamed opponents. He's already requested Madison Square Garden for this card on September 26.

This is gold IMO. Gamboa worries me a bit as a fan of Lopez but he will land with that right hook and its a P4P punch.

Any thoughts on this? Its obviously speculation but even if it happened a year or two from now is that too soon? And who wins?

I wouldn't want to see this fight yet, why can't they wait until a few years ? anyway Yuriorkis Gamboa is very talented but his defense is pretty bad, and he's been knocked down by mediocre opponents.

If he gets knocked down by Juan Manuel Lopez, its lights out. Juan Manuel Lopez is a good boxer with great power, lovely punch technique. And a fantastic workrate, and he's beaten much higher quality opponents, i see Juan Manuel Lopez winning inside of 3 rounds.

Yuriorkis Gamboa for all his talent is far too easy to catch at times, as i said before he needs to fight more technical. Hence why i don't want to see his fight yet, Yuriorkis Gamboa is far too wild to deal with someone like Juan Manuel Lopez at this point.
