Nah don't see it, If Khan gets past Kotelnik Warren would probably put him in the ring with
Malignaggi, a weak puncher.

maidanas a good boxer alot of power. he showed dat against victor ortiz. against khan if he can catch him itll be a early nite. but khan is a good fighter as well and has speed. in my opinion khan can out box maidana

If Khan gets in the ring with Maidana I would have the utmost respect for his guts because the Argentine is one mean muthaf*cka. However, I'm not that convinced that Khan beats Kotelnik yet so we'll see how that goes first
I would disagree that its only risk and no reward. Beating Maidana would instantly change a large segment of the boxing community's opinion of Khan, more so than Kotelnik really since people want to see Khan against a puncher. And I don't think its totally out of the question that he could, Maidana could get a bit overrated in the aftermath of the Ortiz fight.

There is no way Con can take half the punishment Ortiz took.
True but were talking about a legend in Barrera, granted a bit old but not far from almost edging an ATG in JMM, who had a good camp, no fires, nothing like what caused him to lose the first Pac fight. Obviously a much more accurate, technical fighter than Maidana.

To be honest though that fight against JMM, was 2 years ago and at a different weightclass. 2 years make a big difference, plus he didn't look that good in his two warm up fights prior to the Amir Khan fight. And he was cut bad in one of those fights aswell.
I don't think you can really tell how good Amir Khan, really was against MAB. He got cut badly in the opening seconds, and he had no chance to get into the fight.
Plus he was undersized and it was a mismatch size wise, the thing that worried me is that MAB was still able to shake up. Amir Khan with the punches he did land.
I think Amir Khan would of beat that MAB, even without Freddie Roach. It wasn't like MAB really had a chance with that cut, which really should of been a no-conest.
Amir Khan is still vunerable to hooks and looping shots as i said, and i still think he gets KO'ed when he meets a goodish fighter with a big punch. He has the skills but he's far too fragile.
