    Default Wow..Victor Ortiz vs Marcos ’El Chino’ Maidana on June 27...

    Recent world title challenger Marcos ’El Chino’ Maidana and hot prospect Victor Ortiz will meet on June 27 for the WBA interim super lightweight title on the undercard of the rematch between the WBA featherweight champion Chris John and Rocky Juarez at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Maidana lost on February 7 against Andreas Kotelnik in Germany for Kotelnik’s WBA regular title. The 25-year-old Maidana has a record of 25-1, 24 KOs, while the 22-year-old Ortiz is 24-1-1, 19 KOs).
