Upon recent advice I'm considering adding a little plaster
In seriousness, all I use are the Mexican wraps like Chris and YB.
In training if my hands are a little sore I may use a short wrap first and then add thge longer wrap over the "carcassing."

Just mexican wraps... never needed any padding for my knuckles... only problem I've ever had was my wrists and that's because stupidly I didn't use to wear wraps.
Did anybody else think of these when reading this thread?
