I'm in similar dilemma with this Pacquiao-Cotto fight. But it's an exciting fight that has to be made this year.

That's what great fighters do - try and beat the crap out of each other...

    Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Leonard.

    Pac, Morales, Barrera, Marquez.

Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, Williams, and Mayweather.

root for a good fight, very rare I actually give a crap who wins. It's be just as awesome for example to see floyd loose as it it would be to see him continue win for the rest of his career. I look at every fight that way. There's a good after story and lead up to new match up reguardless of who wins.

This fight is such a formality I don't think it matters who you want to win.

You know Floyd will win so just accept it now and deal with it.

Marquez will do ok I expect and won't be embarrassed but he's not going to beat Floyd and it won't even ever be close.

    Floyd will cruise this.

Go for the underdog every time, even one great win from one outweighs the thrill level of many expected ones.

You can sure that if Marquez wins I'll be jumping with excitement! Although I won't be miffed if Mayweather walks away with the win.

At least I hope there will be no immature bravado when the fight is over.

I think it is clear who you should root for. Marquez.

This is Marquez finally getting his shot at the big time and at this stage of his career, he needs this win alot more than Mayweather does, He is also the big underdog and is having to come up almost two divisions.

Mayweather and his fans are calling this a tuneup, not only is a fighter of Marquez's caliber never a tune up but i hope so bad that the "tune up" shows Mayweather what he is all about and give him his first defeat.

He is also not a dickhead. so clearly Marquez.

It has to be Marquez. Maywaether is a full time celebrity and a part-time boxer. I'd say its better for boxing if Marquez wins. Mayweather is almost using it as a tune-up, IMO its disrespectful to use one of the top P4P fighters as a 'tune-up', it would be great if Marquez shows Mayweather that he is nobodys tune-up. If mayweather wins it will make himself and others believe that he is the only star in boxing - capable of doing as he please as he is so much better than the rest. Personally, id like Marquez to show that NOBODY is good enough to not box for 20 months or so and come straight back and beat one of the best, for me that devalues the other great fighters. The downside would be the loss of mayweather-Pacquaio (if Pac beats Cotto)

I see your point Ryan totally Im going for Marquez too. But many will say that it will prove Floyds greatness all the more by going for him, even though the size difference.

I am pulling for JMM to win in an upset but then again I am 2 for 67 in my predictions so you better root for Floyd.

You only have to back against yourself and you'll be worth millions.

Oh that statistic is only my public predictions here. If I had only started betting years ago when I had the urge at chosing upsets i would be worth a lot. Starting when I thought Duran would be too much for Davey Moore.
