I kind of answered in the response to CFH, it would have to take a few years at least really, 3 fights were talking over a year at least, then two more fights for the semifinalists (or I guess at least the two semifinalist winners) which is a year, maybe a little less at best knowing fighters schedules these days.

So 5 fights for the winner and runner up, at least two years for them.

I don't know, I think the pluses outweigh the negatives personally.

I don't know about that. Limiting the competition of 6 of the best fighters in a very deep division for what could literally be years seems like a very bad idea IMO.

frankly id be stunned if showtime did this and dont believe for one second it`ll happen.

Theyve too much to lose by giving 7 of their top 8 men a loss on their record hence why they`d much rather just pair these up individually than have them beat the hell out of one another.


For what its worth im all for boxing like tournaments like these at world level and would love to see this being done over a 7 week period with 1 knockout event each night surrounded by solid undercard fights.
