Well with 50 + year old former boxers and short lived WWF wrestlers pulling off huge wins....I'm sure its future is bright

I watched it for a few months like a kid watches the circus pass through town but fell off.Why do I need a Mma
when I have Boxing. BUT....it does have some of the most stunning ringcard (octagon) women Ive ever seen

Yeah Tim Sylvia got owned by Mercer; and I didn't expect it to go any other way. Tim used his mongoloid size and 10 ft. jab to win fights; thought his boxing was "good" He was a joke and the HW div. in UFC is as bad as in boxing. Wish these guys had better sweet science to compliment their games but most have rudimentary skills at best. Mike Swick, Joey Villasenyor, Marcus Davis and Anderson Silva come to mind that have better than average hands.

Doesn't that guy wear a size 15 shoe or something. He and Valuev must have simultaneously jumped from the evolutionary chart.I remember that they would always talk about his punching being among the best. The Griffin/Bonner (??) match got me watching for a time.

I don't know what size shoe he wears; he's a goombah trailer trash gimp. His legs were Gumby like and when he walks they bend in; I really don't know how he won any fights. Randy Couture owned him though that was fun Some fun fights to watch are Parysian/Sanchez or Guida/Sanchez. Also Melvin Guillard has some viscious hands and a scary left hook.

I respect very few fighters in MMA....guys like Lesnar, Joe Rogan, the first couple of The Ultimate Fighter contestants and hell even the head man Dana White will keep anyone respectable away from the sport.

I used to hate and ridicule it a couple years back but am a huge fan now. It is so much better organised than boxing. In boxing we look forward to big fights, but in the UFC its the entire show. They will have a half a dozen fights, all of them entertaining and the action is so much unpredictable than boxing, you really don't know what is going to happen.

I know there always used to be the argument that a really great boxing fight would be better than a really great MMA fight but even that isn't holding up any more.

Some of my favourite fights of the year have been MMA fights, and guys like St Pierre, Anderson Silva, Lyto Machida etc are right up there with the elite boxers in terms of talent and skills.

In fact I'm not sure if those three guys arn't actually more talented than any boxers right now, considering the variety and completeness of their skill sets.

It's a phenomenal sport imo and in another 10 years or so will be on an equal par with boxing, certainly in the US and maybe even the UK and Europe.

Yes but that's because those guys make a lot less money than top level boxers.
