Some biitches swear up and down there guys and try to act like one. If Arturo did in fact beat her ass in the past, I'm sure she deserved it.

Everyone has problems in their life and celebrities sometimes have them worse than us "normal, everyday" people. A shame if he was whooping up on his wife; maybe all those reflexes aren't such a good thing to have if your wife is swinging on you![]()
Didnt that Marley guy who wrote that piece used to be Don Kings right hand man? If so what he says needs to be scrutinised LOL
Who doesn't have problems and family spats. We tend to put them on a pedestal and play the judge and jury from the sideline.Of course when your in the spotlight and known that is bound to happen and he'll answer for his wrongs as he should.I'm not going there.Have my own glass house to live in.I'll judge him from what I experienced and remember him in that light.

I'm not one for hitting woman, never have nor will I ever. As someone else said tho woman feel so secure in their knowledge that their man or whatever can't do shit to em cause they just have to scream foul and guy ends up in jail no questions asked so some bitches just act crazy and shit for no reason trying to see how far they can push their guy before he snaps. This is in contrast to woman who are in a fucked up relationship where they get beat for the hell of it cause their man is a psycho. Whatever the case if arturo did beat his wife or not, it doesn't justify his killing, unless he did some crazy insane sadistic shit to her...
its a bit tasteless if this is the first time this has been mentioned, even sounds like something that would be said to help the wifes case if she did indeed comit the crime
its a truely sad one of the great warriors has ended his life this way
Absolutely. Gatti's problems have been out in the open for a long, long time. Drugs, alcohol, violence towards women, etc. His life outside the ring was a lot like his fighting style inside the ring.... reckless, wild, unpredictable.
Obviously it was a shock when I heard he had died. But if someone had said a year or two ago that Gatti would die young, that wouldn't have shocked me at all.
Not really the first time. Mayweather sort of hinted at Gatti's past and present problems that no one wanted to talk about but wanted to make him look like the bad guy by spilling his personal business out there.
Anyway Gatti as a boxer entertained me, what he was as a person is something we'll all never know.
If it comes out that this is turned into a justifiable homicide as in she killed him out of self defense then its gonna tear his reputation to shreds anymore.
But these stories were out before about him having substance abuse and drug problems and such but it just wasn't as big of news as if lets say Mayweather had done it. It was there but it sort of went unnoticed, sort of like Kendall Holts issues. If a story doesn't make money then people won't cover it like a big deal. But NOW its a big story because there's a lot of talk around his death so NOW all this information is gonna be published like its something new.
Sometimes the media and sportswriters sicken me
Agree with almost all of that, apart from comparing it with Holt. Gatti's personal life was ignored because he's a likeable guy & because of what an exciting fighter he is. Kendall Holt's get ignored because frankly there's not enough people who give a sh*t. The more popular (not famous) a fighter, the less heat he will get, Mayweather had some allegations against him that weren't even proven that he got way more crap for than any of these guys for whom there were much more solid allegations. It's also related to the profile someone keeps, Hatton contrary to what he likes to portray likes to live a very unhealthy lifestyle in the full glare of the media between fights hence it always being brought up & in the press becoz he's happy to be seen drunk & lookin like he's auditioning for the lead in the John Candy biopic. Cotto doesn't live that much healthier a lifestyle, however he's smart enough to not be doing it in the glare of the media or inviting people round to watch him get drunk. Obviously none of that is to the extremes of this case, but that's basically why some stuff gets reported & others don't IMO.

If she ends up in court over this and it is looking like it will Gatti reputation is going to be ripped to bits.
What ever way you put it,when a former world champion boxer hits a woman,it looks and sounds bad,and there is not much of an excuse for it either from Gattis poiont of view.![]()
