    Default Middleweight Pool verification

Should the following boxers be verified to stay in the pool?

Amin Asikainen - Boxer - his last fight dropped him to the pool (A KO loss to Matthew Macklin). He has nothing scheduled for the future.

Dmitry Pirog - Boxer - his last fight was on 2/6/10 where his opponent Eric Mitchell retired on injury. He has nothing scheduled for the future.

    Default Potential middleweight pool entries

This division has a lot of potential issues that may cause a high number of vacancies soon. Paul Williams is always uncertain as to what weight class he will fight at and his next fight is at 154, Felix Sturm is probably going to have issues getting fights because of his recent promoter split, Pavlik even if he beats Martinez may have to call it a day with hand issues. That being said....................enter the possible entrants.............

Gennady Golovkin - Boxer - Last fight was a 2nd round KO victory over Mikhail Makarov on 11/21/09, nothing scheduled.

Koji Sato - Boxer vs. Jae Myung Lee - Boxer - OPBF Middleweight title fight, in this choice the winner takes a pool spot.

Marco Antonio Rubio - Boxer - He's been here before, he did get slaughtered by Pavlik, but he's getting back knocking people out. His last fight (at middle) was 9th round TKO for the WBC Latino Middleweight title (also an eliminator for the WBC title), nothing scheduled.

Peter Manfredo Jr - Boxer - Yeah I know it's Manfredo, he did just beat Vanda though for the NABF title, schedule to fight Angel Hernandez on 5/22/10.

Roman Karmazin - Boxer - Made in Hell stayed true to his name in his blood and guts victory over Dionisio Miranda on 1/8/10. He is scheduled to fight Sebastian Sylvester on 6/5/10

Golovkin talent-wise deserves to be there but his resume is lacking.

Don't know much about Sato apart from his one sided loss to Sturm so I voted no. Another good win and I'd vote him in.

Rubio's back to knocking guys out. Over the past two years he's beaten Alvarez, Ornelas, Cuevas and Zertuche. Apart from the Pavlik loss he's had a decent run at middle.

I almost voted for Manfredo but I'll wait and see how he does against Hernandez.

Karmazin gets my vote after his thrilling come from behind stoppage of Miranda.

    Default Manager Vote - 168

I'm using my manager vote for Jermain Taylor. I'm gonna argue that he drops all the way to 10th, as we could have actually dropped him straight to the pool for 2 losses after his defeat to Abraham. Anyway, there's other guys who still deserve to be above him, so as good a fighter as he was, there's little evidence he's actually coming back, hence I feel the 10th spot should be his.

Default Does Jaime Moore remain in the pool (154)?

Moore (154 pool) has suffered his second loss in a row, his two possible options mentioned in his post fight interview were retirement and moving up to 168, does he remain in the pool?

Drop him. Two losses in a row, one to a journeyman.

Default Should Pavlik vs Martinez be for 160 Championship?

Due to the fact that Pavlik is fighting the man who is #1 in the division immediately below him, we have the option of a Saddo's Championship in this fight. I think this is worthy of Championship, as Martinez is better than all the guys at 160 bar Pavlik, Williams & possibly Sturm.

    Anyway your thoughts?
