Yeah but to be fair. Oscar and Hatton have HUGE followings. I'm pretty sure both Audiences in attendance were Pro Opposition.

In terms of PPV buys it's obviously harder to determine who the buyers were following but no doubt Oscar Dela Hoya and Ricky Hatton brought a shit load to the table in terms of Buying power.... The fact that Floyds most recent fight aint selling so well further supports my point.
But Oscar/Hatton had the same HUGE followings when they fought Pacquiao. Why did they only do half the sales then?

We can only take from these numbers that, to the public, fights between Oscar/Mayweather & Hatton/Mayweather were more intriguing than Oscar/Pac & Hatton/Pac matches.

Also, were the reports of the fight not selling true? I remember hearing rumors but no evidence was presented. I read a report from a Golden Boy rep that said the rumors were false. Are they still rumor or were they proven fact?
