I think Cotto has to worry more about Pacquiao's right hand a.k.a. "the Manila Ice". It played a big part in his last 3 fights.

I'm picking Cotto to win this.
Manny is truly a phenom, but I think a prime and focused Cotto will be too much for him at 145. Miguel won't be as careless as Hatton was, and he won't look as sluggish and drained as Oscar did.
He has underrated hand-speed, a pretty tight defence and can be a murderous body puncher too.
It won't be easy, but I'm going with Cotto by 10th round stoppage.

since when is Pacquiao known for uppercuts? and a left uppercut at that? Clottey is a stronger man than Manny and even he wasn't able to seriously hurt a one eyed Cotto with the uppercut, a punch that he's pretty much known for, Pacquiao has improved leaps and bounds from what he once was, but he still basically uses, the pawing or quick jab without much power on it to set up the straight left, or the now dangerous right hook, IMO those are Manny's only real weapons, the reason he's so dangerous now though is cause of his accuracy WHEN he's calm and collected, the people that are actually thinking that Cotto is gonna share the same fate as Hatton of getting stopped so early or at all are pretty much taking this shit a bit far
YouTube - Pacquiao TKO Fahsang 3K Battery

How about that left uppercut? Does it pass your discriminating taste?
are you seriously comparing 3k Battery to Cotto?!? and yea that was at featherweight, how many other fights has he really used the uppercut so effectively, and discriminating? i've given Pacquiao credit for everything he's deserved credit for, Hatton, Morales II, Barrera I, just cause i don't get a hard on from him beating on a bum like David Diaz, beating up a shot weight drained DLH, or barely squeeking by twice against Marquez in fights i don't thing he should have gotten, i think Pacquiao is a great fighter, but he's far from being THE Greatest fighter

For sure I am not comparing Cotto to Fahsang Pirang (3k battery) with that Pac vs Pirang vid provided, at all. I was simply responding to the casual pronouncements made...

Since when was Pacquiao known to have the left uppercut as a weapon in the ring?

The video if referenced, addresses the inquiree accordingly and positively as well.

It is a disservice to us all here at Saddo, to ignore a falsehood to go on unrectified, especially if addressing it is easily achieved. To indirectly enhance the level of truth to our posts should be a prime objective to us all here at Saddo Boxing. For that matter, the truth is prime to anyone worth his salt!

Noteworthy about this fact (the left uppercut), is that nuthuggers... duh! would know, fans would know, and any knowledegable boxing people would definitely know provided with some accurate leeways.

And for "those who do not know", they will however, not put in writing any undermining facts to an entity in general that is unbeknownst to them.

It is the hater that will... put in writing, with the hopes that all others "who do not know" would not seek facts, will not be objective enough, and simply take his' inaccurate pronouncements or writings as facts.

Unforgivingly then, the hater's prime objective of spreading lies, confusion, and negative connotations, will have been met.

well just cause he used it well in ONE fight doesn't really make it one of his weapons, Oscar used his right hand well against Mayorga and Vargas, does that mean you really needed to watch out for his right hand, no, not really
