With Amir, people will tell you how arrogant he is and yet nobody can produce a video to really show his arrogance is any different than any other fighter who believes in his ability.
Kelly Pavlik has had some stick on here of late for comments he is supposed to have made regarding the Super Six Tournament but have we actually heard him ourselves?
And it happens a lot with many fighters. Somebody produced an article or news report of what they have said or done, and then they get judged and criticised for it, but we never actually see the interview ourselves, or know the context.
Anyway from now on I'm going to try and judge a fighter soley on the comments I hear him make rather than comments that somebody says he made, or some article quotes him as saying.
I don't hate Amir Khan but when he said, he could beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. I thought that was absolute ridiculous, as was he comment about his 2 percent body-fat what a plum

He never said he could beat Floyd Mayweather Ice, that's just yet another example of you not understanding word play.
He had just turned pro and they were asking him how he was taking to the pro game and he said his sparring was going so well he felt he could take on Floyd Mayweather in a four rounder.
It was clearly a playful, tongue in cheek remark, like somebody saying I could have beaten King Kong tonight, it doesn't literally mean someone thinks they could beat King Kong it's just an expression to say that they felt very very strong on that night.
Likewise with Khan, he was just saying he felt his sparring was going so great he could even give Floyd Mayweather a run over four rounds.
Sorry but only a complete imbecile would take that as a genuine statement that he was claiming he would beat Floyd Mayweather if they met at that time
On to the second point, him saying he had less than two percent bodyfight was quite endearing I thought, like wow this kid just takes at face value anything anybody tells him. I must admit I thought of you when he made that statement
