....if he beats Valuev he may do just what you described.
I mean if Haye won't take what Vitali and Wlad are offering now after having 2 fights at heavyweight vs bums, then just imagine what ridiculous amount Haye will want if he beats Valuev!!!

Well if the truth be told Haye was getting 400k for the Wlad fight and handing over his next 4 fights to Wlads people, now imo thats quite ridiculous from the Klits part, now im not a huge Haye fan, but my problem is he new the terms from day one and he has just kept running his mouth, thats whats let him down.
Looking at it closer Haye should of done this in the beginning and then he would have more cards at the table, but I do find it difficult to understand why both Klits wont just fight him like they do with every other fighter they fight without all these ridiculous clauses.
But let me say again Haye has become pathetic with all his talk and not backing it up, like i said when he new the terms from the first Klit fight when he pulled out.
Was Haye a mandatory? Did he earn his shot? Did he prove himself a valueable commodity at heavyweight?
Then the contract equalled Haye's worth, it equaled what he brought to the table which is next to nothing.
Had David beat a top ten dangerous heavyweight that he SAID he was going to fight in impressive fashion before any negotiations with Wlad or Vitali then of course he would have gotten more money.
Oh and Judd burnstein is involved, interesting. Imagine the scenario: Valuev has to fight Ruiz, Ruiz wins, not only we would have a pathetic champion again in the person of "jab and grab" but Haye would get screwed big time, a real celestial retribution for a guy dodging the real champions and screwing around with his big mouth.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Lyle you think tieing him up for his next 4 fights is reasnable??
Your going on as if noone knows who Haye is, if he is some sort of novice who has no pulling power at all he was the ring undisputed 200lb champ who HBO are very much intrested in, If Haye didnt say what he did and just said im not figthing these two fools because its the Klits who are coming across more like the ones who dont really fancy the job, but Haye ran his mouth even though he new the deal from day one which was a joke. He got paid more than that for fighting man boobs Macrenelli.
Bad boy David Haye is good for business | Kevin Mitchell | Sport | guardian.co.uk
Haye did have a genuine back injury before pulling out of his first Klitschko fight – against Wladimir – but there was double pain in the short-end money he was going to get, a little more than £400,000. And that after his over-the-top behaviour had done so much to shift more than 60,000 tickets for the fight. He would have done the same with Vitali. So, however "bad" the guy is, he's also good for business – and that, pretty much, is what it's all about.
More and more i read about this the more I think The Klits are the cunts in these negotiations, i mean 400k two tv companies involved one being Hbo, 60k gate and hes getting paid 400k hahaha. They take the piss the Klits lets be honest, Haye has doen himself no favours with his smack talk and then pulling out but any man with the intrest Haye is drumming up in the boxing world would be insane to accept that offer plus no rights for his next 3/4 fights.
Also the back injury was legit, i read in the Boxing News a couple of weeks ago an independent French Boxing Journalist was doing a piece in the Haye training camp in Cyprus and he witnessed the injury with his own eyes while Haye was sparring the French Champion.

I don't necessarily disagree with that Skel, but Kevin Mitchell is a joke of a boxing journalist. Just the previous week to that article in which he praises Haye's trash talk, he was complaining about Floyd Mayweather devaluing boxing with his arrogance & how it's not trash talk that draws people to fights
I've said a number of times about this guy that he seems to be a bit of a fanboy of certain British boxers & generally dismisses all others as crap. Eg, he suggested Joe Calzaghe would handily beat Sugar Ray Robinson, that Amir Khan has the fastest hands in boxing on the basis that Pacquiao said he'd never sparred with anyone so fast (well, he hasn't sparred with himself or Mayweather) & that Carl Froch will KO Bernard Hopkins (in fact the only time he criticizes Froch is when Froch calls out Calzaghe). Haye appears to have been added to the list of fighters who he will arselick to the maximum
That seems so small compared to what you'd think a fighter would get for fighting the heavyweight champ in front of 60,000 punters.
Haye was clearly taking a gamble on the fact he could blast Wlad's chin off. Obviously its a different story where Vitali is concerned. So if he's getting anywhere near that number for fighting Valuev then it was an obvious move.
Of course it still makes him a "chicken" to all the delusional thickos![]()
