....providing the Klitschko's will still want to deal with him after his amateur antics.

I wonder about a couple of things regarding Haye.

#1 What is Steve Bunce spewing about him after this sorry ass exhibition?

#2 How will Haye take Valuev's punches...he doesn't hit extremely hard, but I think he hits harder than Carl Thompson or Jean Marc Mormeck also he's 320+ pounds and when he lands it'll be interesting to say the least.

What a stupid career move by Haye. That's all i can say really. Makes no sense. He'd be better fighting Peter or someone who is a decent name but isn't 7"2 and 8 stone heavier.

....yeah I just forced my way through a Bunce podcast and that's what they were rambling on about, that and they called Nicolay Valuev a "World Class Boxer". They can talk nonstop trash about the Klitschko's specifically and the heavyweight division in general and then spout off that shit....how do they not burst out laughing even thinking about saying that bullshit?

David Haye and Adam Booth just don't know what the fuck they are doing. They are jumping into bed with Sauerland/Don King Promotions and they expect they are going to get a better deal than what Bonte and Finkle were going to give them?!?! Steve Bunce is just a fucking twit who is carrying the water for David Haye, he's the ultimate fanboy.

Hope the networks frown on this and think twice about rolling out the red carpet for the Tin-Man.Wlad fight was signed, promoted and all set....dont by the 'back injury' for a second.Very unprofessional and a slap to his fans.......I was neutral on him prior but now I hope the man Mammoth Valuev drives him like a shiny nail.

....oh come come Spicoli, wouldn't you love to see the HBO announcers talk Haye up big time only to have that huge hairy joke of a fighter know the crap out of Haye.

I for one would love to hear the post fight press conference, I figure it might go something like this.....

You mean like basically what happens to every american heavyweight HBO hypes? They hyped Wladimer the same way even being so bold as to say that only Lennox Lewis could beat him a fight before he was sparked by Sanders. HBO builds up any heavyweight as the second coming to take on the Klitschkos nowadays its nothing new.

Well no that's not what I was getting at Majesty. I think if Haye was to lose he (like Audley before him) would not be appologetic about losing and he would pick right up where he left off hyping himself up. Whereas Wlad lost and it hit him hard, he was disappointed for his fans and his hopes of having the torch passed to him directly from Lennox Lewis.

The torched was passed to the BETTER, TOUGHER AND LESS VULNERABLE brother Vitali. thats the guy I feel sorry for, he was the heir apparent and carried on like a true great bad ass tough as nails heavy that people loved to tune in for.. Vitali was in a league of his own until his body betray him.

5 years later no one could argue that he wouldnt have lost a title fight and would have ran the table for that alotted time. He is the champ that everyone wanted and was worthy of receiving after Lennox.. Why do you think it took this long for Wlad to be considered the ring champ.. He was not the 1st choice and I bey they were banking on him getting sparked a 4th time...

poor Vitali has to take a backseat to his dreams, glory and aspirations just to coddle and support Wlad while he keeps trucking along.. To me Vitali is the best heavy in the world and picked up where he left off and hasnt lost. He brutalized the guy who embarrassed Wlad in Sanders, demolished Peter and beat him into submission without getting KD 3X and flopping around the ring like a fish...

To me Vitali is the best heavy in the world and has a better and MORE EXCITING body of work than Wlad... He is the deserving one and a champion we all want and can be proud of

JT that's a nice case you make, but it's still a weak stance to take.

Wladimir has lost, and sure he's gotten hurt in the ring and looked lost out there, but to deny his skill is ridiculous.

VS Corrie Sanders, Wladimir came out to the fight flat...he was pissed off he wasn't getting his shot vs Lennox Lewis and he might have started to believe his own hype and he got caught multiple times and got beaten. A couple fights later he was looking uncomfortable in the ring and eventually that caught up to him too vs Lamon Brewster, Wlad used up all his energy by throwing punches and being tense and he lost again. When Wlad fought Sam Peter, it was SAM PETER who everyone touted as the "Next Heir" and it was SAM PETER who was the young exciting power punching heavyweight and Wladimir was the washed up Ken Norton to Sam Peter's Gerry Cooney...the fight was supposed to be Wladimir's last one as a top level heavyweight. Sure in that fight he took a couple of questionable shots and went down 3 times, but like a CHAMPION he got up and won the fight and since then Wladimir has looked unbeatable. Wlad has improved with every fight, his tactics, his style, his comfort level in the ring...everything looks better with each passing fight. With all of the flaws that have been exposed in Wladimir, for him to DOMINATE fighters, for him to make opponents so one sided that all Wlad needs to do is jab every so often...that is special, it may not be fun to look at, but it's special that Wladimir can make fighters like Ruslan Chagaev and Sultan Ibragimov clam up and turn into punching bags....those guys aren't horrible fighters.

Sure all of the Klitschko fans want Wladimir to open up the offense more....but the guy knows what he is doing and he keeps getting KO's. Wladimir will be the most under appreciated heavyweight champion since Larry Holmes....or maybe even Gene Tunney who also had problems winning over fans with his style.

Yea but either way Vitali is the better one.. HE NEVER LOST A FIGHT AFTER LENNOX. Granted its part of the game and things continued on in boxing just like life, but aside from him giving in to injury with Byrd have you ever seen Vitali vulnerable? Even in the Lewis fight with his eye brow missing he was not going to be denied. Granted its always hard to glorify a fighter in a loss but that fight galvanized Vitali and his career and showed this guy has balls and took everything Lennox had and kept coming after being decapitated by an uppercut he was stunned for a second and fought back and strong. Thats what champs are made of, he punished and beat up Sanders and Peter in a way that Wlad is not capable of. There is a mark difference in aura, energy and excitement when Vitali is in the ring. His presence feels like THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMP

What complaint have you ever heard about Vitali? He lets hang out with his wang out every time.. Deep down inside you know who the better brother is and I only hope he can be recognized somehow as the official #1 Ring heavy in the world before father time gets him!

Thats the difference, Wlad isint willing to pay the price of glory even when his opponent is there for the taking, Wlad would rather sniff his way through a fight rather then say Screw it Im bigger stronger and faster than this guy, I have been overpowering him for 4 rounds there is no answer for my jab and my cross, let me hook off my jab go to the body and start firing off combos.. Time to turn up the heat and see if I can take this guy out. But he dosent lyle, Wlad dosent have it in him.... But his brother does

I have no issues with Vitali at all....I'm just saying Wladimir is no chump, which you obviously disagree with. You don't think Wlad is tough or has any heart and it is wrong of you to think that, he's gotten up off the canvas to win, hell he's gotten up off the canvas to continue getting beaten up before, and he's avenged a loss, he's dealt with cuts and fouls beofre and he's come through it all with only 3 losses in 56 fights and he's won 47 of 53 by KO....that's equally impressive to anything Vitali has done.

The only thing different about the brothers are their styles, Vitali is a slugger, Wladimir is a boxer/puncher

I agree with all of that bar the last sentence. I think to call Vitali a slugger is a bit far, he likes to brawl but its not like he lacks skill. Also a boxer/puncher is generally someone like Miguel Cotto, someone who will take a few risks to land shots. That is not Wlad, who is a pure boxer, or in FNR4 terms, an 'outfighter'
