Thanks buddy, however, I might add rivalries don't mean much if Haye or Valuev keep ducking the Klitschko's
Thanks buddy, however, I might add rivalries don't mean much if Haye or Valuev keep ducking the Klitschko's
Well I guess it the old story in the bible about the pharisee's, who were straining out the gnat and gulping down the camel when it came to enforcing Gods law.
Case and point: Haye's only real Bastian of income against Wlad was Setanta, since Wlad wasnt going to part with a penny from the event gate or German TV revenue.. So whether the back injury was valid, no one should be in a Mega heavyweight showdown and risk getting fatally injured or unable to provide for themselves and gamble all that for virtually no money.
Also it looks like the Vitali contract was another peanuts contract with a clause that basically enslaved Haye to keep fighting the Klits till they beat him, for yes the same shit money... So yes Haye is a mouthy prick and is like a gnat, but that shit contract and circumstanes around it is like trying to swallow a camel.
I doubt Haye is scared of the Klits and there not scared of him, but a negoiation and deal is reached when both parties feel like they got a good enough deal to move forward.... Trust me Lyle this is good news Valuev is a blatant ducker and has been gifted his title quite a few times not to mention had a shutout pitched againt him with Holyfield.. Haye will beat his ass and bring that strap to the mainstream and actually have a leg to stand on with an even bigger event-promotion and trinket to bring to the party.
You mention rivals, more than likely Cris Arreola will fight Vitali and say he beats him there is another rival to throw in the bunch.. I'm excited about those 2 fights and the matchups they represent
Arreola is an excellent boxer thats a fact, he brawls and imposes his will because he can overwhelm his opponents with fire power. I suppose thats why he has ignored conditioning for the past few years..
He is supposedly getting into better shape, so I think if unfortunately Vitali gets old within a round Cris could be a hard nights work for him..
Arreola has a maximum of 5-6 rounds in him because of his complacent attitude to conditioning. Whilst he has natural talent & firepower, Vitali is a guy who's taken punches off Lewis & Brewster & stayed standing firm. His chin won't fall apart in one fight. In fact, the only way I see him getting hurt is by a quick puncher as Brewster was & Arreola ain't that. He may have some talent, but he's a slob, & his talent is not in the league of a Riddick Bowe where it can compensate for lax conditioning against top opponents
The Klitschko's and there shocking contracts have left Haye with no option but to meet Valuev for the title and a better deal.
Interesting what Valuev had to say about the Klitschko's
Niko, news about your fight with Haye has left many shocked. How quickly did you make a decision to take this fight?
Negotiations were conducted very quickly. It didn’t take long for me to think about and agree to this fight. I am sure that I’m better than him.
You knew that Haye would pull out of the fight with Vitali Klitschko?
Yes, I knew about it, but Vitali has not followed through on his promises. Several months ago Vitali and I spoke by phone and agreed to have a fight between us. Then Vitali stopped speaking to me. I communicated this to my promoter and they informed me that Klitschko doesn’t wish to fight me. What should I do after that? Wait? But by the time of this fight I’ll have not fought for nearly a year. A strong contender is necessary for me. I have chosen Haye. Unlike Team Klitschko, we have quickly come to an agreement with him.
Now having selected Vitali’s planned opponent, do you think this could cost you a fight against the Klitschkos?
If the Klitschko brothers wish to claim all the titles, they should fight me.
Haye has stated that he refused the fight against Klitschko because of a bad contract. What conditions did Haye demand?
I don’t know. Ask my promoter. But I think it wasn’t the money. I know that Klitschko offered bad conditions for Haye. I even looked at the contract. These conditions were awful! The Klitschko brothers think only of their own benefit when make contracts for their opponents.

The Klitschkos are the draw....If Haye wants the lions share he needs to take the risk and set up the stadium etc in England. Wlad gave Haye the chance to do this and he realized he couldnt sell out a stadium in England and backed out of that first contract...so wlad set up the fight in germany where he knows he can sell and is the big draw...of course Haye backed out again.......
The Klitschkos get the lions share cause they are the champs, the big draws and they assume all of the promtional/stadium risk...
Valuev cant say a word cause Wlad offered him the fight before Ruslan after Haye pulled out of the first fight. Valuev didnt want the fight.
People say the Klitschkos are overrated and are weak champs but I have never seen a situation where so many fighters are afraid to fight the two top HW champs.....
Thats funny there such the bigger draw that HBO didnt want any part of the Wlad/Chagaev fight but were ready to show the Wlad/Haye fight live in ther States. So I think you will see the Kilts are not the only draw in this fight and Haye brings alot to the table alot more than 400k and 3/4 fight deal if he wins.
