Your going on as if noone knows who Haye is, if he is some sort of novice who has no pulling power at all he was the ring undisputed 200lb champ who HBO are very much intrested in, If Haye didnt say what he did and just said im not figthing these two fools because its the Klits who are coming across more like the ones who dont really fancy the job, but Haye ran his mouth even though he new the deal from day one which was a joke. He got paid more than that for fighting man boobs Macrenelli.
400k? What the fuck? Where did you hear that Skel? Like you said, it was reported he got much more than that for the Enzo fight - around £1m.
Bad boy David Haye is good for business | Kevin Mitchell | Sport | guardian.co.uk

Haye did have a genuine back injury before pulling out of his first Klitschko fight – against Wladimir – but there was double pain in the short-end money he was going to get, a little more than £400,000. And that after his over-the-top behaviour had done so much to shift more than 60,000 tickets for the fight. He would have done the same with Vitali. So, however "bad" the guy is, he's also good for business – and that, pretty much, is what it's all about.

More and more i read about this the more I think The Klits are the cunts in these negotiations, i mean 400k two tv companies involved one being Hbo, 60k gate and hes getting paid 400k hahaha. They take the piss the Klits lets be honest, Haye has doen himself no favours with his smack talk and then pulling out but any man with the intrest Haye is drumming up in the boxing world would be insane to accept that offer plus no rights for his next 3/4 fights.

Also the back injury was legit, i read in the Boxing News a couple of weeks ago an independent French Boxing Journalist was doing a piece in the Haye training camp in Cyprus and he witnessed the injury with his own eyes while Haye was sparring the French Champion.
That seems so small compared to what you'd think a fighter would get for fighting the heavyweight champ in front of 60,000 punters.

Haye was clearly taking a gamble on the fact he could blast Wlad's chin off. Obviously its a different story where Vitali is concerned. So if he's getting anywhere near that number for fighting Valuev then it was an obvious move.

Of course it still makes him a "chicken" to all the delusional thickos
