    Benn KO.
And Benn was? Except for beating Iran Barkley (who came in having lost his last 2) he did nothing else. Unless you call getting knocked out by Watson and Eubanks doing something
To be honest though VD, you say Iran Barkley had lost his last two. But that doesn't tell the whole story, two of those losses were against Roberto Duran, Michael Nunn.

Roberto Duran fought the fight of his life, and i thought Iran Barkley did enough to win. But still i have no complaints it was a great fight. And a very close one at that.

And Michael Nunn was P4P number 4, and was just coming off a brutal KO win over Sumbu Kalambay. Many people thought Michael Nunn would beat Iran Barkley easily.

But infact it was a very close fight, and Iran Barkley was praised on a very good effort against Michael Nunn. Losing a very close decision, me personally i only had Michael Nunn winning by 2 rounds.

As for the Nigel Benn vs Iran Barkley fight, i personally think Nigel Benn got away with murder. Hitting Iran Barkley while he was on the floor, and he was lucky the 3 knockdown rule was in effect. Because i believe Iran Barkley may of comeback to stop Nigel Benn.

I agree with you that Nigel Benn was better at 168 though, he improved as a boxer and i think his punch resistance. Was better at 168 aswell, but he still had some other good underrated wins at 160. The only man to stop Robbie Sims and a dominating win over Doug DeWitt.

As for this fight itself, well i was never really sold on Felix Trinidad at 160. I don't think he was at his best at Middleweight. And personally he did get knocked down alot early, and had that happened against Nigel Benn i don't think he would of survived.

And say what you will about Nigel Benn being better at 168, but he still had crushing one punch KO power. And i think he hit harder than Felix Trinidad especially at 160.

But Nigel Benn himself at 160 had bad defensive flaws. And wasn't quite the boxer he was at 160, and Felix Trinidad would have the advantage of experience over Nigel Benn, i really think this is about as 50/50 as you can get. This fight has so many ways it could go its impossible for me to pick.

Did I mention Benn would tear off Tito's head.

    Wow good match up.

Think it would be very close, both are hard hitters with chins that are not always 100%.

Think Tito was a more controlled boxer but you could never count Benn out of a fight.

Benn by KO in a Hagler Hearns type brawl most probably.

Agree re the Hagler Hearns comparison. I go for Benn getting hurt by a few bombs and getting mighty pissed off and scoring a KO in 3 or 4 .

Tito was only on the floor about 50 times at welterweight.

Kevin Lueshing decked him for effs sake.

I agree it could resemble Hagler-Hearns although more likely Khan vs Prescott.
