Hatton should just fight him now before he needs a crane to lift himself off the bed.

Oh that statement reminds me of.. in the earlier days of the WWF there was a wrestler named Yokozuna his gimmick was that of a sumo wrestler and he was legitimately big yet agile. But he broke his leg in a match(legitimately) and they needed a forklift to get him out of the ring. Sad sight.

And they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks......well looking at Ricky it's never been a truer statement. I think his attitude of doing as he pleases is up to him, but when people offer advise that he so obviously seems to need and ignores, it comes across as either very foolhardy or arogant.
I can see him fighting on and getting either badly hurt or badly
embarrassed, maybe he has circus mirrors at his house.

Sad, but true. Hatton goes on about being a man of the people when the sad reality is that he is surrounded by "yes" men and seems to have an ego the size of his current head. If Hatton is not in the ring within 6 months then it's best he never sets foot in one again. His weight and attitudes towards discipline are awful and now he has set forth into the world of the big 30 it's only going to unravel more and more.

It was always going to end like this, but some of us liked to think he might reign in the stupid habits. Obviously not to be.

My God, he has more chins than a Chinese phonebook.
It will cripple him to burn all that off again and again and again... not so sure he can do it anymore to be honest. His best days are well and truly behind him!

YouTube - Yokozuna vs Vader - April 8th, 1996 Raw

This match is actually very ironic as Vader was supposed to be working over Yoko's leg but winds up actually legit breaking it, they immediately stop the match and "award" vader the victory to quickly finish the match while Yoko rolls to the outside in immense pain.
He starts the pain screaming at about 7 minutes as the match is over they try to get him on a stretcher but it was obviously not gona work so obviously they went to commercial when they came back he was being forklift out at around 9.03. WWF of course uses this as a chance to get Vader over as a heel and improvises a 'fake' an attack on yoko's legit broken leg(though obviously hitting the thigh) but because of this injury Yoko wasnt seen in the company again except maybe once. was a sad sight as he was/is a legend and it was sad to see him go out like that

Just gave you rep for this, then they are pretending to whack his leg with chairs at the end? You kidding me?

pretty much. they improvised on a situation to get vader more over as a heel. But you can obviously see in the "attack" he is only hitting Yoko's thigh, not the leg. Dunno why yoko allowed it, but he was a legend after all but it was still a sad end. He did come back but only once or twice, his career was basically over. If im not mistaking he died a few years later because of his overweightness after doing a ppv for legends. Sad.
