So what does that tell you ? he's got some mental issues. Which i don't think can be corrected. He even went back to his old coach Pat Burns. And if he can't correct it i don't see how anyone can.
u could be right icb, either way there is definately some issue there with the stamina, wether its mental nervous energy hes expending or hes not training to the best of his ability and gassing to easily, he is still a dam good fighter tho, only jermaine taylor nos what the problem is, hope he sorts it tho
He's got all the tools, except for maybe his defense at times. Is a bit leaky but he's got a fantastic jab, good speed, good power. And good skill sets but he's so frustrating especially if your a fan of his.

In reality he should of beat Kelly Pavlik x2, he's a class above him. And he for certain should of beaten Carl Froch, but his mental issues will always plague him IMO.
In reality he lost. You need more than skill to be a success. What advantages he had in skill were wiped out by the heart, bottle, stamina, toughness, power etc of those two.

Skills look more impressive, and are probably the most important factor after bottle, but that's only one part of the package.

Just because a fighter is faster, has more variety of punches and a better defence doesn't necessarily mean he will ever beat the lesser skilled man.. as history shows

Great points here. Rocky Marciano sprung to mind as soon as I read your post. He was not the fastest or most skillfull but he had a ton of power, heart and toughness and it showed!

I still think Taylor won the second fight.

Taylor-Abraham: I think a lot of people are going to be surprised how close (and GOOD) this fight is actually going to be! Abraham like Bernard Hopkins, gives away early rounds, that's not good vs Taylor who can build up a solid lead, and sure Froch closed the show but who knows maybe Abraham gets a little tuckered out and Taylor hangs on to win...it could happen, I think JT has a lot riding on him winning at least this fight.

Ward-Kessler: Mikkel gets overrated and underrated at the same time, but vs Andre Ward he is just too experienced and too powerful. Ward recently got dropped by Edison Miranda, and I can't name a top level guy Andre has hurt.

Dirrell-Froch: I see Carl Froch as a limited fighter with good power, I think Dirrell will surprise a lot of folks and stop him late.
