That's exactly what we were all complaining about with Khan-MAB though. The fact is that once you get blood inside your eye & particularly under the eyelid, it's as good as gone. I do think from the way it was going that Bradley was going to take it, just as I did with Khan, but there's a reason the rule about headbutts are there. This was no Victor Ortiz moment, like MAB, Campbell said to continue, he just said he couldn't see, which I think most of us would tell our cutman after a round like that one.
I have very little respect for Nate here. You can't go around complaining nobody wants to fight you and then quit when you know the cards are stacked against. He knew what he was doing telling the doctor he couldn't see. Cotto fought on against Clottey instead of taking the easy way out. I just don't think he gave a shit about ripping the fans off. He's winning no favours with the TV companies doing that either.
I like Nate. Can we not go back to talking about what a silly fuck Witter is?
a no decision is a no decision, Ref is an idiot even in the replay that was plain as day he was saying he got hit after the butt(which makes him look like a bigger idiot) So you acknowledge it was an accidental butt, though the angle of the cut is almost impossible to have come from a punch.... The cut came from a punch![]()
The rules are there but regardless of what we think about some of these officials they have to take the initiative and make a call, work and look at the cut between rounds ,thats why they have cutmen?....ref stopped Nate at the end of 3rd and looked right at it,Nate looks at it on the over head wide screen and motions to corner and is saying he cannot see before he sitsdown. With his eye open?Im not defending dumbazz refs but he was working the system...just like I think Rahman did in Toney rematch. We cant change it and maybe I'm coming at it outta knowing Nate is a warrior.Just think he made the call all by himself and worked it.
